This is a test and brief glazing of the overlib software (if you are viewing this on a phone, it is probably less exciting). I have loved overlib for a long time without knowing its name. Other fans of the old internet or Web 1.0 may recognize these simple, lightweight pointer-following tooltips from the internet archives whose homepage (http://www.bosrup.com/web/overlib/) is a 404 — a true flex of yesterweb authenticity. I'm not a web programmer, so I haven't actually worked in the trenches of NPM, but it seems like a really terrible developer experience. The joy of programming is in seeing something happen after writing down a bunch of esoteric words and symbols; the ratio of miracles worked to hours spent scratching one's head is way too low in modern web development. As for overlib, there is very little head-scratching and the results are perfect. It is a paradigmatically cuspy tool.
